In the Florida Keys, wildlife officials are trying to eradicate a lovely new inhabitant to the area. CAT-SIZED rats (!) from Africa were allowed to escape by an exotic pet breeder and are reproducing. To make matters worse, officials say the rats "don't have any real friends," which indicates the giant rats have nothing to lose when threatening fragile ecosystems.
