I find it hard to believe that the story of the death of Betsy Ross' descendant on the Los Angeles Times' website is below the story of the mouth-to-mouth! Unfortunately, the headline on the story itself ('Garden Grove woman, 81, was beaten to death') just doesn't have the same urgency. I guess that's the difference they keep talking about between the 'story headline' and the 'web headline.' In this case, it totally worked. I would not have read about a dead woman in Garden Grove. I don't even know where that is.

Also, good job JetBlue. Related: it's going to be 79 degrees today in Los Angeles.
