NASCAR is going to need bigger speedways. According to Nextel Cup driver and team owner Robby Gordon, "Most people are going to want to watch and see how Toyota does" with their entry to the world of tradin' paint.
Even using the most conservative definition of 'most,' that means that 3,262,585,133 people will be watching NASCAR this season solely to see how Toyota does. Add to that the number of people who already consider themselves fans, and Fontana's 92,000-seat California Speedway shouldn't have to worry any more about having unsold seats.
